Early to mid 20th Century

Unusual horn Aves dyed in a banded pattern of cream, brown, and green, to two alike. Natural brown horn Paters with silver-toned filigree beadcaps on both sides. Silver open-work cross shows Art Nouveau influence, unmarked.  Silver corpus with metal nails, small INRI molded to cross.  Silver center showing Mary on one side and Jesus on the other. Center is molded in high relief with a detailed 'picture frame' border suggesting curling vines or leaves. Machine made chain and handmade bead links of steel or other silver-toned metal.

Natural horn Aves and natural horn Paters. Natural Horn cross marked 'Made in Dublin', metal corpus is probably aluminum. Metal nails, no INRI.  Center is a flat, natural horn heart. Machine made chain, handmade bead links.

Made for the 31st International Eucharistic Congress, held in Dublin 22 June - 26 June 1932. The original shamrock-shaped horn tag is still attached.

Mid 20th Century

Green dyed horn Aves, natural horn Paters with brass caps. Lucite cross with no markings, Lucite corpus, metal nails. No INRI. Center is a Lucite Miraculous Medal, molded on both sides. Machine made steel chain, handmade bead links.

Early to Mid 20th Century

Green dyed horn Aves, natural horn Paters. Natural Horn cross with no markings, Celluloid or Lucite corpus, metal nails. No INRI. Center is a Lucite puffed heart, molded on both sides. These heart shaped centers are hollow, and may have held holy water. Machine made chain, handmade bead links.

Natural horn Aves decorated with dots and varnished. Bleached and varnished horn Paters. Celluloid cross Marked 'Ireland', Celluloid or Lucite corpus, metal nails. No INRI. The cross has warped as celluloid tends to do over time. Center is a Lucite harp, molded on both sides. Machine made chain, handmade bead links.

Made by the Mitchell's Rosary Company of Dublin for Father Patrick Peyton's Family Rosary Crusade, Ontario, Canada. The original paper tag is still attached.

Deep brown dyed horn Aves, deep brown dyed horn Paters. Natural Horn cross marked 'Made in Eire', metal corpus is probably aluminum. Metal nails, no INRI.  Center is a flat, natural colored horn heart with a raised M surmounted by a cross, design is pressed onto both sides. Handmade chain and handmade bead links of steel or other silver-toned metal.
